They’re extraordinarily intelligent, abundantly ambitious and overtly optimistic. Millennial SAT scores are up across the board but especially in math and science, reversing a trend that saw the U.S. fall behind other nations. At New York University, for example, average SAT scores for incoming freshmen rose from 1,283 to 1,335 between the high school classes of 1995 and 2000.
