American Institute of Architects, Cincinnati Chapter, Announces Jeffrey Sackenheim as 2015 President

Cincinnati — Feb. 19, 2015 — The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) proudly announces Jeffrey Sackenheim as its president in 2015. Sackenheim was elected to the position by his peers following four years on the AIA Cincinnati Board of Directors.

“I’m honored to serve in this role for our local design community,” said Sackenheim who – like many of his contemporaries – aspired to become an architect from a very young age. “I look forward to building on the foundation our incredible board has worked to establish and to raising the profile of AIA members both publicly and professionally.”

Sackenheim is currently vice president of architecture at SHP Leading Design, where he specializes in corporate and educational projects. He earned a master’s degree in architecture in 2005 from the University of Cincinnati’s acclaimed School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning and graduated from Miami University in 1999 with a bachelor of arts in architecture. Sackenheim resides in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
