SHP Welcomes Steve Tossey to the engineering team

(Cincinnati, OH) – Steve Tossey has joined SHP Leading Design as a senior mechanical engineer, specializing in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. In this role, Tossey will design and engineer complex, energy efficient and sustainable HVAC systems as part of the 113-year-old firm’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering practice.

Tossey has more than 25 years of experience in HVAC engineering. His new role returns him to Cincinnati, where he spent much of his early career with firms such as Flour Daniel, M-Retail and Burgess & Niple. He joins SHP from Century Engineering in Hunt Valley, Md., where he spent the last five years designing HVAC systems for high-rise, multi-family lifestyle centers, federal and office buildings, senior living communities and the Maryland Zoo.

Tossey is a licensed engineer in both Ohio and Maryland. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He, his wife Becky and his son Aaron currently reside in Madisonville.
