(Cincinnati) – SHP Leading Design was presented with two prestigious Cincinnati Design Awards at the annual awards ceremony. The winning projects for the firm were GYRO:HSR and EcoFlash. The ceremony was held November 12 at the Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in downtown Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Cincinnati), the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Cincinnati/Dayton City Center, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Cincinnati/Dayton, the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) Midwest Cincinnati and the Miami Section of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) invited their members topresent their best work in their respective annual design competitions. All entries were judged by a common jury of distinguished guests connected to all facets of the design profession.
The SHP designed GYRO:HSR headquarters received the award for built work, new construction and renovation of interior projects. The award was in the IIDA + ASID category.
The second award for the organization went to EcoFlash. EcoFlash is a series of iPhone and iPod Touch applications that are geared to help individuals study for the LEED exams. This award was in the open design category.
