We recently produced a four-part video series that explains what the 9 Billion Schools movement is, how it came to be and what we hope it will inspire. The videos feature Lauren Della Bella, the president of SHP Leading Design, and Brian David Johnson, an acclaimed author and futurist.
In the first video, both Lauren and Brian spoke about 9 Billion Schools and why an architecture firm would tackle the question, “What is the future of education?” The second video in the series provides more information on the 9 Billion Schools movement, specifically the idea of life-long, life-wide and life-deep learning (L3). It also explores how 9 Billion Schools can provide a framework to help shape our future.
In a few weeks, we’ll post the third video focusing on how we learn at work, at school and through leisure activities. Stay tuned for more!
We hope you find these videos insightful and thoughtful. And we hope you join the movement, too. Sign the 9 Billion Schools petition, join the newsletter mailing list or connect with our social channels on the 9 Billion Schools Join Us page.
