Construction is currently in progress on the next phase of the district’s Master Plan developed by SHP in 2004 (The first phase, Talawanda High School, opened in 2012).  The new Kramer Elementary will serve 650 students residing in the near city of Oxford, Ohio, and is set to open for the 2016-2017 school year.

Key features include:

  • A fully-enclosed courtyard designed for outdoor learning zones related to art, theater, science, reading and play.
  • Grade level pods have large and small spaces to allow for flexibility.  Grades 3-5 feature operable glass walls to allow for team teaching in 1,620 sf of space.
  • An open media center (no corridor walls) allows for collaboration and multifunctional use by both students and staff.
  • Kramer is built as a fully-compliant OSDM designed building and site.
